The LiMAR® One Piece Slickline Rope Socket is devised to effectively attach the end of the slickline to an LQK wireline toolstring without the need for a threaded bottom sub.
Simple assembly of the pear drop & sleeve utilising the spring & spade installation tool removes the need for a threaded bottom sub, reducing toolstring length. The pear drop & sleeve assembly provides and maintains a reliable grip to the wire, especially when under load, during heavy jarring operations.
TOOL APPLICATIONS:
- For use with slickline to enable a reliable attachment to the toolstring without the need for a threaded bottom sub
- Ideal for height restricted operations and scenarios where reducing threaded connections is preferable, such as geothermal wells
