The design of the LiMAR Braided Line Rope Socket – Swivel Type pays particular attention to the ease of assembly and disassembly whilst providing a reliable grip to the braided line.
A belleville washer stack provides initiated pre-load when assembled in which the energy stored in the compressed washer stack maintains a positive grip between the pear drop and the outer wall of the cable, regardless of line pull. An integral swivel section prevents the build of torque in the braided line during deployment. An optional Disassembly Jig provides a safe and effective way to separate the pear drop from the sleeve assembly after use.
