The design of the LiMAR Braided Line Rope Socket pays particular attention to the ease of assembly and disassembly whilst providing a reliable grip to the braided line.
A belleville washer stack provides initiated pre-load when assembled in which the energy stored in the compressed washer stack maintains a positive grip between the pear drop and the outer wall of the cable, regardless of line pull. An optional Disassembly Jig provides a safe and effective way to separate the pear drop from the sleeve assembly after use.
