SET DOWN CIRCULATING VALVE

The LiMAR Set Down Circulating Valve is used to achieve high rate rearward circulation to improve hole cleaning during Milling operations.

The SDC Valve can be placed above or below the Motor, without applied load the tool directs circulation through rearward tangential jets. As the tool is compressed it diverts all flow to the motor or bit below and switches to milling mode.

TOOL APPLICATIONS:

  • All CT Milling operations and any scenario where the motor needs to be isolated to perform another operation in the well-bore

DESIGN FEATURES & BENEFITS:

  • Activates with minimal set down weight
  • Isolates the motor from high flow rates and nitrogen
  • Improves hole cleaning by allowing greater flow rates
  • Reduces clean out times
  • Rearward tangential jets aid in lifting solids during wiper trips
  • Torque thru design
  • Extremely short tool to reduce BHA length
  • Simple yet reliable operation
  • Selected components QPQ treated
  • Hexagonal flats for safe make up & break out
  • Connection options to suit customer requirements
