FURTHER CNC INVESTMENT AT LiMAR®

Fast and efficient order fulfilment of our Coiled Tubing and Wireline range of products is always at the forefront of our Customer Service commitment. Further investment during 2014 at LiMAR® has seen the delivery of the advanced, multitasking 5 Axis Mazak i-300 and a multiple axis CNC Vertical Machining Centre to our portfolio of machines.

The new i-300 was recently installed in our Thailand facility, adding to our plant list of 9 CNC machines. The i-300 is currently the largest machine at our SE Asia facility, allowing for advanced machining processes to be undertaken, aligned with our UK facility, which also has an i-300 in its CNC fleet. With the aid of Matrixcam2 CadCam software, both facilities can now share programming techniques to increase overall efficiency & output.

Investment in the advanced CNC Vertical Machining Centre eliminates our 3rd party reliance for certain Milling processes associated with many of our well intervention products - enabling us to further control quality and lead time.

With these two latest additions and enhanced machining capabilities, we can continue to progress with the design, development and manufacture of new and innovative products to meet advances in well services industry requirements, whilst reducing existing delivery and production times.
