LiMAR TESTING

Our Coiled Tubing & Wireline products are rigorously tested prior to market qualification and release. The LiMAR Flow Loop and Impact Testing facility unit is designed to perform and record a variety of surface test simulations on both flo-activated and mechanical down hole tools. Tests such as tool function / activation, extended repetitive cycle testing, impact loading and destructive proof testing can be carried out in a safe and controlled environment.


LiMAR FLOW LOOP & IMPACT TESTER

The 9 metre, fully adjustable test bed houses two opposing hydraulic rams for optimal testing of both our Coiled Tubing and Wireline product lines. The 24” bi-directional CT ram can accommodate up to and including 4.500” diameter tools whilst being capable of exerting 112,000lbs pull and 150,000lbs push forces. Fluid powered by a Triplex pump unit, flow activation rates and pressures can be monitored and recorded to determine operational performance & actual flow rate requirements of our flo-activated Coiled Tubing product range.

The 40” bi-directional WL ram incorporates a reciprocal auto-cycling function which allows timely, repetitive testing during jarring operations and can accommodate up to and including 4.500” diameter tools. The ram is capable of exerting 23,000lbs push and 17,000lbs pull forces whilst the structure is capable of withstanding impact forces in excess of 150,000lbs.

READY-TO-RUN CT TOOL OPTION

With our dedicated CT Mini Service Centre, LiMAR have the capability to supply your Coiled Tubing products pre-torqued to the products design torque recommendations.

The Centre provides a safe and effective way to make up and break out tool joint connections on small OD tools. The Mini Service Centre has an open mouth, non-aggressive tong die design with a clamping range of 1-11/16" to 3-1/2" OD and can accommodate a different tool OD on either side of the connection without having to change the tong dies.
